Comments: Happy 66th Birthday my dear friend. I miss you and pray to God you are sleeping soundly. I am sorry I took for granted all you had sacrificed and pray you will forgive me for all the faults I possessed especially my failure to let friends like yourself how much I loved all my friends and you. Nothing I can do will exer excuse my failure to be there when you needed me the most.
While I remember you on your 66th birthday in a few days, I remember you and pray for you every day along with my weife and parents. The space you left when you died will never be filled.
I love you dear friend

Comments: Hey Pal: you know I found 2 pictures on the web. One was of two teen age students in PA standing on the U.S. flag which was lying on the floor. The other was people wading in the reflection pool at the World War II memorial. My fear Don is one day they will pain graffiti on the Vietnam Memorial. I don't know what is going on here.
While I miss you and wish you and Kevin were still here, a part of me is relieved you didn't live to see this disgraceful and thoughtless behavior. I can visualize you in tears over this ultimate act of betrayal to you, your brlthers and all who wore the uniform.
I am sorry this is happening and have to take responsibility for what is happening to the country you and other liek you died to protect.
Larry

Comments: Donnie:
I keep you in my thoughts every day but especially on a day that honors the sacrifice and faithful service made by you and your brothers and sisters in arms. It is a time to show our gratitude. But you my old friend, Thank You Donnie on behalf of my grandchildren, my daughters and myself. Every time I see my kids and grand children it further reminds me of the depth of your sacrifice. Always know that while I never showed much emotion before my friends, I care about you and all my friends and always well. You are never out of my thoughts
